[MADtv] Keegan Getting Unmarried

According on a news report from the website Times of the Internet Keegan-Michael Key will be joining the cast of Gary Unmarried next season, along with actress Brooke D'Orsay.

Keegan-Michael Key and Brooke D'Orsay have joined the cast of the U.S. sit-com "Gary Unmarried," CBS announced.

So, it looks like after 6 seasons on MAD, Keegan is going to make sure that he does not fall on deaf ears in Hollywood. I, like most likely many of you congradulate Keegan, and hope great things for him in his new role. The show, which will be starting it's second season starts up again on September 23rd.

Well good for Keegan. It's nice to see a former MADtv cast member go on to do other shows and movies. =)

According to this article, Keegan will be playing Curtis, and old friend of Gary's who works at a radio station. Brooke D'Orsay is going to be the station manager. If Keegan is a radio guy who does things like run a morning show where he uses a bunch of sound effects that would be so awesome. If the show goes long, maybe Keegan's character could be spun off? Maybe I'm getting a little ahead of myself, but this still sounds like it could be a great character. I didn't watch Gary Unmarried last season, but with Keegan's addition, and how entertaining it might be, I will definately be tuning into the season premier.

i've only seen a couple episodes of gary unmarried and it was pretty funny, but keegan's gonna take it to a.. ho.. nutha.. level!

Tonight is the first episode of Gary Unmarred, and Keegan is apparently in it.
